We are currently recruiting for a Costs Clerk to join our specialist Costs Operations team.

You will assist with:

- the costs operation aspects of cases and work in close proximity with Costs Draftspersons;
- drafting schedules and statements of costs, opening and closing of files, filing, keeping file storage tidy and in order;
- checking disbursements in bills of costs, paying disbursements, serving and lodging bills, and creating invoices for solicitors' fees and disbursements.

You will ideally:

- have an interest in litigation costs;
- demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
- be hard working with good analytical and organisational skills to manage and prioritise a busy workload;
- be comfortable working to deadlines and targets;
- possess excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word;
- be a fast learner and have the ability to work with our case management systems
- have a 'can do' attitude.
