Solihull, Solihull, United Kingdom University Hospitals Birmingham Full time
We are the NHS. We provide the care and services that you, we and our families would want to use.

At University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) our teams are committed to building healthier lives - this starts with our non clinical support functions.

These crucial service delivery teams allow the Trust to function and give first class care to our teams and patients.

As the NHS continues to tackle waiting lists for treatment and surgery, UHB has approved 16 vacancies for Coordinators to join the Waiting List teams at Solihull, Good Hope and Heartlands.

Led by our award winning Manger; who fully embraces our values of Kind Connected and Bold you will quickly be welcomed by the wider team where you will coordinate waiting lists for electively admitted patients, book pre ops and ensure theatre lists are fully utilised.

To ensure a seamless service, you will use your excellent communication skills to respond to queries or questions from patients and liaise with speciality managers, theatre staff and pre op nurses to ensure patients are booked accordingly.

To be efficient in your role, you will be computer literate with the ability to work across databases, booking and digital correspondence systems.
