An exciting opportunity has arisen for two motivated individuals to join the Clinical Research Network Yorkshire and Humber (CRN Y&H).

The Portfolio Delivery Support Officer role forms part of the CRN Y&H Study Support Service who, as a collective, are responsible for the setup, feasibility, performance, and delivery of the NIHR Clinical Research portfolio across the region.


The Study Support Service will be the first point of contact for researchers wanting to conduct studies within the Yorkshire & Humber region.


Therefore, a key element of this role is to ensure effective communication and regular engagement with stakeholders within partner organisations across the region.

The post holders under the guidance of the Portfolio Delivery Facilitator will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and active management of performance against national and local objectives.

The post holders will be expected to proactively support a large portfolio of studies. This will involve liaising closely with lead investigators, research nurses, other research staff and local specialty leads.

It will be the post holders' responsibility to ensure data systems are maintained to accurately record study progress including EDGE and CPMS.


The post holders will be based in Sheffield but may be expected to travel across Yorkshire and Humber and provide support to partner organisations throughout the Network as required.
