Buro Happold has an exciting opportunity for an HR Systems Specialist to join their team. The role will provide you with the chance to work in both a technical and functional capacity to deliver new systems and functionality across the range of HR systems and software. This will include the Unit4 ERP suite which is used globally by the practice.

This is a permanent role based in the UK, either based in one of our offices or working on a hybrid basis.

There will be a requirement for at least occasional travel to our Bath or London office to connect with our colleagues in person.


Key duties

:

  • Work closely with HR Project Manager and IT to ensure technical delivery of all projects and upgrades and ongoing successful system usage.
  • Ensure all solutions meet requirements as set out by stakeholders.
  • Provide system support and training as required and identify areas of opportunity for future enhancement within the HR software suites.
  • Organisational establishment management ensuring that the HRIS structure supports the business.
  • Coordinate with IT regarding update cycles, deployment of patches and experience packs.

Your skills and experience

:

  • Technical proficiency in an HRIS, ideally with a working knowledge of Unit4 ERP solution.
  • An understanding of HR functions and working practices.
  • Ability to create, document and implement solutions based on a set of requirements.
  • A clear understanding of the ERP support systems and how we can use it to our advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels and an ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people both internally and externally to BH.
  • A solid foundation of experience working with an HRIS either in a system support role or as a frontend user.
  • Experience of delivering change projects, ideally within the HR digital sphere.
  • Experience in Organisational establishment management and planning alongside BPs and HRCs, including responding to and planning for future organisational changes and growth within all systems whilst maintaining reporting capabilities.
