Our client, a leader in the niche capital equipment sector, is seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join their team in the London area.

This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled, integrated team comprising sales, marketing, market access, medical affairs, and government affairs.

You will play a crucial role in shaping strategy at both local and national levels.
Reporting to the General Manager for Northern Europe, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets for the assigned accounts by managing the following parts of the sales process:

Identification and qualification of sales opportunities.
Analysis of the buying influences and proposing a solution.
Closing the sales opportunity and securing the order.
Implementing products at customer sites and conducting customer training.

This role requires extensive travel within the London area, so candidates living within 1 hour of the London metro area are strongly preferred.


Account Planning:
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.

  • Customer Relationships:

Sales Strategy:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support, including conducting product training and ensuring successful product implementation at customer sites.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to track progress and inform strategic planning.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements

Bachelor's degree; Minimum 3 years of medical equipment sales experience in the diagnostics or medical devices industry in the UK required.

Knowledge of medical device software sales (embedded or applications) preferred.
