To support the growth of our organisation and our people, we are seeking a Talent Specialist to join our HR team on a permanent basis.


This role would suit HR generalists with a preference to training and recruitment, recruitment professionals that are looking to bring their skills to an inhouse role, or even individuals that are in learning & development currently that would to like to broaden their skill set.

All applicants will need to have a strong understanding of employment law.

Purpose


As a HR Talent Specialist (Resourcing and Development) at the Rocal Group in Brigg, you will play a crucial role in the Human Resources team both locally and across the group.


Reporting directly to the HR Director, your primary responsibilities will include utilising strong recruitment skills to attract top talent and coordinating training opportunities to foster continuous development within the organisation.

You will also provide HR generalist support with wider HR activity.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfilment of open positions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external talent sources such as preferred agencies and training providers
  • Lead Rocal apprenticeship, graduate and work experience programmes
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate training programs, workshops, and other developmental initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the facilitation of a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and engaging introduction to the Rocal Group culture, PRIDE and support a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Work with the wider HR team to develop and enhance onboarding materials and processes.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure clear communication of new starters.

  • Provide generalist support to the wider HR and Communications team where required
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records in the HR Drives and Sage HR & Recruitment system
  • Generate reports and analyse data to support decisionmaking processes.

Desirable knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and training coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws is essential
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Familiarity with Sage HR and Recruitment is beneficial.

Up to £33,000.00 per year
