Merchandising Manager Position at POP MART
As the Merchandising Manager, your role will involve developing and executing merchandising strategies to boost sales and profitability. Collaborating with various teams, you will curate product assortments, plan promotions, and shape the overall merchandising direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with company goals and customer demographics.
- Collaborate with the buying team to procure merchandise that meets customer preferences.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product assortment enhancement.
- Plan and execute promotions to drive sales and increase traffic.
- Monitor inventory levels and product performance, making necessary adjustments.
- Work with the marketing team on merchandising campaigns and visual displays.
- Coordinate with the supply chain for product demand forecasts and optimization.
- Manage local warehouses and oversee inventory checks.
- Mentor and train the merchandising team on best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Supervise inventory checks and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of retail merchandising experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organizational skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Chinese communication.
