We're on the lookout for an accomplished Payroll Specialist to become an integral part of our expanding Payroll department.

As a seasoned professional, you will play a crucial role in managing the complete payroll lifecycle, demonstrating your expertise from initiation to completion.


Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will encompass delivering comprehensive, efficient, and effective payroll processing while providing essential day-to-day administrative support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in payroll management to contribute to our dynamic team and drive the success of our growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily input and maintenance of all payroll related information on SAGE 50 payroll software such as starters, leavers, absences and existing employee amendments.
  • Create parental leave schedule including statutory pay.
  • Process company benefits in payroll and reconcile them every month.
  • Accurately produce or run all month end processes relating to your allocated payroll, on time including HMRC RTI online submission.
  • Process year end and submit P11D data to our provider.
  • Assist with international payrolls to cover holidays may be required.

What we are looking for

  • Analytical mindset, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to spot irregularities in data.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of payroll legislation in the UK.
  • Excel knowledge and experience of using VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and Pivot tables would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Be flexible, trustworthy & reliable.
  • Demonstrate that you are selfdriven and proactive in your own learning & development.
  • Previous experience using SAGE 50 Payroll software advantageous but not essential.
