As a Barclays Relationship Director within International Corporate Banking, you will lead and manage a portfolio of large, complex project clients to maximize sustainable income across our treasury products suite in the Investment Bank.

Such clients are highly sophisticated and require someone experienced and confident in discussing financing, capital structure, and credit risk dynamics. Providing excellent customer service and building deep relationships are key.

A structured approach includes working onsite on fixed days, with a minimum of two days a week, as set by the business area. Working pattern requirements will be discussed with the hiring manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on existing customers to provide exceptional service and be seen as a trusted advisor
  • Building and expanding KBI networks
  • Targeting potential customers to establish new relationships and drive new business
  • Collaborating with product partners to enhance wallet share and deliver complex solutions
  • Managing portfolio risk effectively, including conduct and reputational risk ownership
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Developing and executing a segment strategy plan
Required Qualifications:
  • Credit risk management expertise and completion of risk accreditation within 12 months
  • Experience in managing complex client relationships
  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking products and services
