This role involves managing waiver requests and variations, monitoring risk, assigning appropriate credit grades, and handling various administrative tasks such as KYC (Know Your Customer), documentation, and covenant compliance.
This role would greatly benefit from the role holder having a clear understanding of and exposure to deals pertaining to Project Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
nAnalyse and review information related to construction, technical and operational reports, customer financial statements, and project finance financial models.nPerform due diligence and ensure loans are administered in accordance with financial and legal documentation.nPrepare associated applications and maintain credit grades.nCommunicate effectively with internal departments (Credit, Syndications, Operations) and external entities, including clients, technical and legal advisers, and agency functions at other institutions.
Role Requirements:
nProvide portfolio management by overseeing transactions post-financial close, handling both analysis and administrative tasks.nLead discussions with stakeholders and maintain appropriate credit grades.nConduct customer-facing activities, including gathering KYC and due diligence information, and attending customer site visits.nInterface with Agent banks, technical, legal, and financial advisers.nCollaborate with internal departments, including Origination teams, Credit Department, Operations, Compliance, and colleagues in Nikko and other regions.
nQualifications:
nStrong knowledge of Project Finance theory, practice, documentation, and financial models.nAbility to execute documentation modifications as needed.nExcellent analytical skills and the ability to review and analyse detailed financial and technical reports.nStrong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.nExperience in maintaining credit vigilance, applying policy, and supporting the achievement of key performance indicators.
nAdditional Information:
nThis role does not have direct reports but involves training and supporting colleagues with internal processes.nWhile there is no specific budget for this role, the primary responsibility is to maintain credit vigilance over the portfolio, support regulatory compliance, and mitigate credit costs/losses.
