Job Specification: Senior Human Resource Business Partner - Employee Benefits

Location: North West London

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (Employee Benefits Consultant) to join our team in North West London. This permanent role involves establishing and managing an employee benefit scheme for our UK entity. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end consulting and managed services, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements and delivering a competitive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine the Most Appropriate Providers:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential benefit providers.
  • Assess provider offerings, costs, and service levels to recommend the best fit for our organization.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with chosen providers.

Provide Suggestions to Meet UK Regulatory Requirements:

  • Ensure all benefit schemes comply with current UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated with changes in legislation and adjust benefit schemes accordingly.
  • Advise on legal implications and ensure documentation and practices are compliant.

Provide UK Benefits Landscape:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of the current UK benefits landscape.
  • Benchmark our offerings against industry standards and competitors.
  • Present detailed reports and recommendations for benefit enhancements.

Group Risk Benefits Implementation and Management:

  • Implement and manage Group Risk Benefits including Life Assurance, Long-Term Disability, and Death in Service schemes.
  • Oversee the annual renewals process, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of coverage.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all benefits-related inquiries and issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in human resources, specifically in employee benefits management.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employee benefits regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate benefit providers and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
