Our well known Waste Management client based in Sheffield (S9) is looking to hire a Transport/Waste Management Administrator to help coordinate the admin duties within their busy office. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent contract.
Shift Available:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:3017:00
Starting Rate:
£23,000 per annum
Duties:
- Maintain effective communications and act as the key customer contact for order requests and processing.
- Deputising for the Technical team as required.
- Coordinate customer deliveries
- Liaise with drivers in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring customer requests are responded to and resolved.
- Undertake all tasks in accordance with Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and Business Management System
- Complete administration tasks such as taking waste bookings, producing invoices and
- Completing Sales and Purchase Ledger Operation
- Flexible weighbridge cover
- Taking meeting minutes and preparing paperwork
- Uploading payroll data
- Assist with the preparation of data and KPI reporting
- Ensuring all vehicles comply with the transport regulations and Environment Agency regulation
- Advising on waste streams and checking duty of care paperwork
- Checking client credit limits
Requirements:
- Outgoing and personable individual.
- Organised approach to work.
- Experience in a transport or waste management environment
- Selfmotivated with the ability to take the initiative.
- The proven ability to interface with customers
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Excel and
- PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
