We are seeking to recruit a Mental Health Strategic Lead to provide strategic, operational and professional leadership of social work and social care within Trafford Mental Health services which are managed by Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents, their families and carers.


About you


If you are an experienced Leader with a background in mental health social work this would be a great opportunity for you.


As a skilled team player, you will work alongside and compliment strategic and operational managers with the responsibility for managing social workers, AMHPs, the use of the Mental Health, MCA & DOLs and the Care Act.


Through forging positive working relationships, you will encourage innovation and implementation of partnership and a culture of close collaboration, working with other services to support the mental health agenda across Trafford and ensure mental health services continue to meet the needs of the population it serves.


You'll also be able to demonstrate experience in setting and delivering strategic vision for better social work in mental health, managing and developing staff, and possess exceptional leadership qualities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
