At Keane Premier Support Services, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our caring and dedicated social support team in the South Lanarkshire area.

The vacancy will support a service user in their own home on a 1:1 basis.

This post would be ideal to someone who is looking to make a difference and be part of this exciting transition and is particularly interested in home making.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Offering 1:1 positive behavioural support to a service user
  • Assisting the service user with activities such as painting
  • Encourage service users keep fit and healthy for example going out a walk or going to the shops
  • Participating in the implementation and monitoring of individual support plans
  • Providing support in all aspects of personal care (when required)
  • Promoting independence by assisting with housekeeping duties
  • Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required
  • Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users
  • Encourage the relationships that the service users have with family, friends, and wider community
  • Maintain the service user's wellbeing
  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly
  • At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner

Shift Patterns:

  • Dayshift: 8am 2pm
  • Backshift: 2pm 10pm
