Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and associated infrastructure.
System Management and Optimization:
Monitor and manage the performance, reliability, and availability of the Wintel environment.
Implement optimization strategies to improve system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure system integrity and compliance.
Security and Compliance:
Develop and enforce security policies and practices to safeguard the Wintel infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and manage security incidents.
Project Management:
Lead Wintel-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare project documentation, including status reports and post-implementation reviews.
Innovation and Strategy:
Stay updated with the latest Windows and Intel technologies, trends, and best practices.
Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance the Wintel infrastructure and support organizational growth.
Develop and maintain long-term infrastructure strategies and roadmaps.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex Wintel issues.
Mentor and guide system administrators and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and diagrams.
RequirementsArchitect Service - Work with client Architects to deliver Wintel designs for Projectsescalations or guidance on extremely complex delivery of tasks to ensure the programme delivers against its' commitments to key internal and external stakeholder groups.
