About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at The JM Longbridge Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document infrastructure requirements within a project team
  • Develop infrastructure designs for private cloud, cloud platforms, and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers
  • Manage a small team of Engineers, including Software and Wintel Engineers
  • Design infrastructure for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server, and.NET Framework
  • Collaborate with Database, Wintel, and Network Engineers to deliver solutions across various application lifecycle stages
Requirements
  • Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, and data networking
  • Awareness of Monitoring, Tuning, and Reporting for applications, databases, and network performance
  • Ability to diagnose problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Agile, and DevOps, and how infrastructure design supports these practices
