Job Summary

Fulcrum Digital is seeking a highly skilled Wintel Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration:
    • Monitor and manage the performance, reliability, and availability of our Wintel environment.
    • Implement optimization strategies to improve system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
    • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Develop and enforce security policies and practices to safeguard our Wintel infrastructure.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).
    • Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and manage security incidents.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex Wintel issues.
    • Mentor and guide system administrators and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and diagrams.
Requirements
  • Wintel Architect: Work with clients to deliver Wintel designs for projects.
  • Manage escalations or guidance on extremely complex issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks to ensure the program delivers against its commitments to key internal and external stakeholder groups.
