Role
To be responsible for the recruitment and training of all Apprentices within the business.
Prime Responsibilities
- Produce and Maintain the GNCHSC Business plan.
- Maintain and develop effective working relationships with external training provider (s)
- Be fully involved in the selection of apprentices
- Identify and deploy volunteer and paid skilled trainers
- Manage pastoral and disciplinary care for our apprentices
- Plan effective training programmes for apprentices
- Develop and facilitate a regular program of chargeable enthusiasts training courses
- Organise and coordinate events, both inperson and online
- Plan and facilitate commercial activities for GNCHSC
- Plan and agree work placements
- Ensure accurate billing of work placement labour to specialities
- Oversee all administrative, record keeping and legal requirements for the training school
- Ensure safe working practices for all trainees
- To consistently strive to improve quality within all daily practices
General Duties
- To adhere to the Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and other related policies such as Equal Opportunities.
- To follow the guidelines for Training and Evaluation.
- To work within the Company's Quality procedures.
- To undertake/perform other duties associated with this role, by agreement.
Reporting
This role will report to the GNCCHSC Chairman/ Board
