There are 3 permanent posts. 1 full time and 2 part-time posts for 20 hours and 30 hours. The shift pattern is 5 days over 7 between 08:30 and 22:30.


This is an opportunity for an experienced Health Care Support Worker to continue to develop their skills and competencies providing care to people in the community setting.


The post holder:
- will support the District Nursing team in delivering care to patients within Renfrewshire, providing accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to adults living in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
- will work collaboratively with the District Nursing teams and assist in the implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients and their carers, under the supervision of the District Nurse or their deputy.
- will contribute to health improvement initiatives to individuals and families on the caseload and to the wider community.
- is required to work flexibly in terms of location to support other areas of team working within the DN service.

Recent experience working within a community setting is desirable.
