ScendR is an Amazon Prep Centre, that assists 3rd Party Amazon sellers in preparing their products, ready to be shipped to an Amazon Fulfilment Centre.

Amazon's FBA program allows third-party sellers to store their inventory in Amazon's warehouses, and Amazon handles the fulfilment of orders to customers.

Our team currently consists of a Head of Logistics who oversees all logistics and four other Warehouse Assistants and we are now looking to expand the team with another Warehouse Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Warehouse Assistant works as the labeller and preparer of the incoming products.

When products come in, they will be taken off the pallet and put onto the work station by the warehouse porter.

From here the senior warehouse operative will be responsible for printing our the labels and informing of any preparations that are required for the product such as bubble wrap bags, poly bags, tape ect.


Labelling and preparing the products is a vital stage of the process and needs to be done neatly and with a high attention to detail.

Ensuring that every product is labelled correctly before being put into boxes and put onto pallets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Labelling and preparing products to go out on pallets
  • Unloading products from boxes and counting ensuring there are no discrepancies
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Assisting with product stock count
  • Assisting with material stock count
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised

REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 Year work experience in warehouse or retail environment
  • Ability to work in an extremely busy and face paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative
  • Speed at labelling and preparing products
  • Quality care when preparing products
