The HR Assistant role is available in various locations including Peterborough, Sunderland, Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath, or Chesterfield and involves a hybrid work setup (2 days per week on site).

Responsibilities:
  • Managing inbound HR queries through the HR automated ticketing system portal, ensuring timely responses and accurate task completion.
  • Handling all aspects of the employee life-cycle administration such as new starter offers, contracts, payroll processing, internal movements, changes, promotions, flexible working adjustments, parental leave, employee relations, holiday calculations, leaver processing, exit interviews, and reference requests.
  • Collaborating with ER and HR Business Partners to address business and employee-related issues adequately.
  • Maintaining up-to-date HR files for all employees as per internal guidelines.
  • Utilizing HR systems for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Reviewing HR processes regularly and suggesting improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with Company processes related to FCA regulations.
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the HR team.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Handling general queries.

Requirements for Success:
  • Experience: Whether you have prior HR administration experience or are a skilled administrator looking to transition into HR, this role is tailored for you. A solid track record in a busy and intricate administration role is a must.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and experience with HR systems is a plus.
