In our journey of transformation and growth, we are looking for a Head of People Operations to lead our Employee Relations and HR Operations teams.

This role is instrumental in crafting a colleague experience that mirrors our brand, purpose, and ambition, supporting the business in achieving its goals through effective people strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations: Take charge of Employee Relations for 800 locations across the UK and Ireland, collaborating with external legal counsel to manage complex cases effectively. Develop strategies to foster a positive, inclusive work environment, and act as the primary contact for sensitive ER cases.

HR Operations: Oversee HR processes from onboarding to offboarding, standardising procedures for efficiency and compliance. Drive the adoption of technology and AI to enhance the colleague experience and ensure robust service delivery.

Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement in HR processes and employee relations, staying ahead of industry trends to keep our strategies innovative and effective.

Data and Analytics: Use data-driven insights to inform decisions, measuring key performance indicators to provide actionable insights to business leaders.

Based in Nuneaton, this role operates under a hybrid model with 2-3 days a week on-site, supporting flexibility and productivity.


The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in employee relations and HR operations.
  • Deep knowledge of Employee Relations and UK/Ireland employment legislation.
  • Skilled in implementing HR technologies and improving processes.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proven leadership of HR teams, focusing on customeroriented support.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and crossfunctional collaboration abilities.
