Role Overview:

Angels Den will prioritise the proven ability to excel in sales over any fancy CVs.

We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Investor Relations Analyst to join our team. As an IR Analyst, you will directly impact revenue generation and organisational growth.

Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying high-growth start-ups and potential investment opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential HNI Investors, Family Offices and Angel Investors through targeted outreach efforts and present the value proposition of partnering with Angels Den.
  • Maintain and update the existing investor database on the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of investor profiles, preferences, and interactions.
  • Proactively communicate with existing and prospective investors through phone calls, emails, and meetings to keep them informed about new investment opportunities and guide them through the investment process, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team to conduct market research and analysis to identify high-growth start-ups and potential investment opportunities within targeted sectors and industries.
  • Carry out administrative and organisational tasks, as and when required.
  • Be an advocate for the firm, through social media presence and attending networking events.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Passionate about breaking into Venture Capital.
  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of successfully attracting and retaining clients.
  • Strong understanding and deep interest in the world of venture capital, early-stage investing, including deal structuring, due diligence, and investment analysis would be good to have.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You are expected to be:

  • Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders and fostering relationships effortlessly.
  • Proficient with cold calling, initiating conversations and building connections through proactive outreach.
  • Effective in communication skills, being able to pick up the phone and communicate confidently with individuals.
  • A team player with self-drive, capable of working collaboratively in small teams while also being self-motivated to achieve goals.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks and projects, delivering results without constant supervision.
  • Able to flexibly adjust to the organisation's needs, seamlessly transitioning between various roles and responsibilities as required.

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to break into the competitive world of venture capital.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a dynamic and innovative organisation.
  • Access to a diverse network of industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors.
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture focused on driving innovation and success.
