Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Sja's West Full time

Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.

Are you interested in emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR)? Do you have a passion for helping to ensure St John Ambulance is prepared for the next major incident or business continuity incident? Do you want to help shape the support St John can offer to local communities when it steps forward in the moments that matter to save lives and support communities?

Regional Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) teams are responsible for engaging in multi agency planning via the Local Resilience Forums (LRFs) and Borough Resilience Forums (BRFs), as well as planning and delivering EPRR training and exercises, to ensure our people in the region are able to respond when the time comes.

Successful applicants will be undertaking one of the most varied and challenging roles within St John Ambulance. Volunteer work will involve representing the organisation at meetings, exercises, training sessions, etc, with multi-agency partners both at weekends and sometimes during the working week.
