As a result of our continued growth and contract wins, we're seeking a self-motivated Field Service Engineer to join our clients team.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' condition monitoring equipment within the UK and Ireland's electricity industry.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working with a small team you shall have a broad role, but some key responsibilities include:

Install and maintain a large fleet of condition monitoring equipment
Travel throughout the UK and Ireland to conduct site surveys, and produce appropriate reports
Remove and relocate existing condition monitoring systems.
Perform corrective maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
Manage and maintain spare parts and service equipment at the company premises.

It is expected that you shall have at least 2 years plus experience installing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment. You will have a technical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Electrical/Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Engineering).

You will be an excellent problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude, strong communication skills (both written and oral), possess a valid UK driving license and be content with working away from home.

A background in the power industry would be advantageous.
