Role Overview:

The Field Installation Specialist will be responsible for establishing fibre connections for clients, ensuring installations are executed flawlessly while providing exemplary customer service. This role involves timely updates to relevant systems throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus primarily on client installations.
  • Execute installations at customer locations, upholding the highest standards of service.
  • Manage assigned tools and company vehicle in accordance with policy.
  • Complete tasks within designated timeframes and oversee daily operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet targets and performance indicators.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity, particularly with the Openreach Network.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and identifying hazards, with a strong focus on health and safety.
  • Proven track record in a networking engineering environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships within the team and with clients, demonstrating a strong customer service orientation.
  • A proactive mindset towards enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license held for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Relevant certifications such as SA001, SA002, S7, S8 are advantageous.
  • IPAF 1b certification is desirable.
  • NRSWA unit 2 (minimum) is preferred.
  • SMART AWARDS certification is a plus.
  • Experience in telecommunications or related fields is beneficial.
