DC Investment Operations & Governance consultant - London or Bristol
What can you expect:
- The DC Investment Operations & Governance Consultant will be responsible for the oversight of investment operations and delivery for Mercer's delegated DC investment solution, Mercer Workplace Savings
- Ensuring the investment strategy is efficiently implemented and meeting its stated investment objectives
- Act as lead contact for insurance platform partner providers who provide the investment platform for the delegated fund solution, ensuring any issues are swiftly escalated as necessary
- Includes development and ownership of investment operational policies, ranging from fund launches to performance monitoring
- Reporting and legal activities in relation to our platform providers and investment management business
- Client facing duties, including attendance at client meetings and potential for new business pitches
- The role will require engagement with internal Finance functions to ensure that the pricing strategy is aligned with the business plan
- Pro-active and timely identification of, and response to, operational enquiries and issue
- Responsibility for delivering agreed actions as a result of operational reviews
- Leading the day to day oversight of the in-house and external asset managers
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of data required for client reporting, internal financial reporting and RFP purposes

We will count on you to:
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to take charge of overseeing investment governance and operations
- With your keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities, you will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our investment operations
- Your expertise will also be crucial in overseeing the investment teams' key role in the ongoing governance of the Mercer Workplace Savings and Mercer Master Trust arrangements

- Experience in governance/compliance and operational efficiency for investment products
- Third party provider relationship owner
- Technical and investigative skills
- Comfortable with data for pricing, performance and investment management
- Platform provider experience
- Product operations and governance experience, ideally with DC pensions
- Advanced excel skills
