DC Investment and Governance Consulting Role

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is a leading actuarial and analytics consultancy providing expert advice on pensions, investments, energy, insurance, employee benefits, and health.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our DC Investment and Governance Consulting team. As a DC Investment Consultant, you will work closely with industry giants, including FTSE 100 companies, to analyze data and model pension scheme cashflows. Your work will have a significant impact on millions of employees and DC pension scheme members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze data and use in-house software to model pension scheme cashflows
  2. Draft client reports, advice letters, and attend various meetings
  3. Advise trustees and employers on DC pension schemes, optimizing strategies, and assisting with benefit design
  4. Help clients comply with regulatory duties and produce governance documents
  5. Advise clients on responsible investing, including climate risks and opportunities associated with different investment strategies

Requirements
  1. A-Level A grade in Maths or an equivalent numerical subject
  2. Degree educated (minimum 2:1) or currently studying for a degree and on track to achieve a 2:1, in any subject
  3. Strong IT skills, including programming languages, coding, financial modelling, and data analysis
  4. Professionalism - including timeliness, reliability, and dedication to meet deadlines to support client needs
