Associate Producer

Peterborough Presents are looking for an early career Associate Producer to become part of the team working on a new programme in Millfield, Peterborough, in 2024/25.


By Producer, we mean someone who is able to help coordinate the logistics of putting on creative events and projects, working in the background to make something happen.

You need to be organised and a good problem-solver, with a strong interest in working in the community.

Imagine a creative events as a swan. The producer is the feet of the swan, quickly paddling away underwater and making it look like the swan, above water, glides along effortlessly


You will support the delivery of 3 strands of the programme: The Millfield Creative Activity Fund, Millfield Makers, and the Millfield Residency.

You will start in June and finish around October 2025.

This role is aimed at someone who is starting out as a Producer / Project Coordinator.

You may or may not have an arts background but must be able to demonstrate the skills we need through any previous paid or voluntary work.

We are looking for someone who is based in and around Peterborough. Ideally you will be from Millfield or with a connection to Millfield.

The Associate Producer will support the organisation of the three strands of our Millfield programme - from meeting with community groups, booking venues, supporting creative workshops, to health and safety.

This job is the ideal role for someone who is interested in learning more about the world of Producing, Project Management, and working in Creative Community or Charity sector.
