Amazing opportunity for an experienced or entry level accounts payable assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive shared service finance team at the leading provider of premium student accommodation in the UK.


We are looking for a motivated entry level or traineeAccounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team based in Oxford.

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be working in the Accounts Payable shared services team, processing supplier payments and uploadingbanking transactions for student sites and assisting the Client Accounting Team.


Key Tasks

  • The timely production of highquality outputs to both internal and external customers
  • Processing of all supplier invoices, payment requests and associated transactions (including BACS rejects), to ensure payments are made to the correct 3rd party, in line with process notes, on a daily basis, ensuring CRM's processing policy for each portfoliois adhered to
  • Manage the Accounts Payable shared service mailbox
  • Answer the phone and follow up any queries in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Carry out, statement reconciliations
  • Carry out prepaid card reconciliations
  • Ensuring all supplier payments are made in accordance with CRM's and client payment terms and all relevant authorisations have been obtained
  • Ensuring site expenses are settled inline with CRM's expense policy
  • Ensuring prepaid card claims are settled inline with CRM's prepaid card policy
  • Carry out CIS Reporting for M&G Sites monthly, in a timely manner to meet 6th of the month deadline
  • Provide audit documentation as required
  • Where possible offer help and support to other members of the team
  • Proactively look for continuous improvements; identify and offer solutions to eliminate inefficiencies on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in the training of other team members
  • Continue to implement Performance & Culture initiatives upholding CRM values
  • To provide other cover as required
  • To ensure all company policies are adhered to
  • Work in accordance with the requirement of the company's Health and Safety Policy
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the UK GDPR and current Data Protection Policy, Staff handbook, agreed departmental behaviours/practices
