Open Mental Health is a Somerset Alliance of local NHS and voluntary sector organisations, which Second Step is a part of, working closely with Somerset Council.
Our shared ambition is to ensure that people living with mental health problems get the right support at the right time.
Working together, we support people to live a full life, by enabling access to specialist mental health services, housing support, debt and employment advice, volunteering opportunities, community activities and physical exercise, to help support and improve people's wellbeing and quality of life.
Rehabilitation & Wellbeing Worker, Community Rehabilitation Service
Hours:
Full-time (37 hour per week). To be worked flexibly including evenings and at the weekends.
It is a fixed-term post.
Salary:
£25, ,837 pro rata per annum
Location:
You will work on an agile basis in line with an agreed rota which will include working at the following venues: Somerset on-site in Yeovil (The Foyer), Wells (Keward House), and Bridgwater (Willow Ward).
Team office space will be established in Bridgwater, and the role will include some home and community work.About the role
This exciting opportunity will see you working as part of a developing service working alongside a wider team of VCSE partners and NHS colleagues.
Using a holistic approach, you will be working in the voluntary sector component of the partnership delivering support and interventions, in conjunction with NHS teams, as part of a client's person-centred rehabilitation.
Support will be offered to clients 7 days a week, 10am - 8pm (reviewed in 6 months).
The aim is to deliver recovery and well-being opportunities for people with mental health and other support needs to achieve their hopes and ambitions.
