Spa Receptionist is required for our full time role.

These are 8 hour shifts with 3 different shift patterns, earliest start is 6.45am and latest start is 11.30am.

Working 5 days out of 7, which includes working some weekends on a rota basis (sharing the weekend working with other receptionists).


The Spa at Armathwaite Hall Hotel is an Award-Winning Spa set within 400-acres of countryside in the Lake District National Park.


As a Spa Receptionist you will work within our strong and supportive team ensuring the delivery of the highest level of customer care to our guests.

As you will often be the first and last person that guests meet, it is vital that you ensure a warm, welcoming experience and thrive on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will have a high attention to detail, be organised and deliver excellent IT, communication and administration services. You will be responsible for reservations of guest appointments.

The successful Spa Receptionist will have the following experience and skills:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Proficiency in computerised systems for data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to maintain phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues
  • To optimise Spa bookings and sales

£12.00 per hour
