Principal EIA Consultant

My client's a vibrant and expanding environmental consultancy looking for a Principal Consultant (EIA) to join their London office, taking the lead on projects with a focus on infrastructure.


The Role:

  • You're expected to have an in-depth understanding of EIA, guidelines, and the planning process, along with a solid track record of managing and leading multidisciplinary teams for EIA projects within set timelines and budgets.
  • As a Principal Consultant, you'll handle all project management duties, providing support to junior staff, personally writing and reviewing team reports, and excelling in client communication. A proven ability to secure projects is a big plus.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience
  • Proven track record in project delivery, maintaining professionalism and adaptability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering EIAs, particularly focused on major infrastructure projects across rail, water, energy, and highways
  • Hold a degree in environmental/sustainability/planning
  • Established network of infrastructure contacts
  • Strong background in project and team management
  • Exceptional report writing skills with the ability to provide technical feedback and enhancements to junior staff reports
