We are currently looking for a Fixed Income Product Specialist to join Royal London Asset Management in our Front Office Fixed Income Team.

You will support the Investment Director (Rates & Cash and Sterling Credit) in contributing to the commercialisation of the Rates & Cash and Sterling Credit teams by acting as a key link between Front Office and Distribution within RLAM and Royal London Group.

The Front Office Fixed Income Team are responsible for the management of client's fixed income and cash assets; adding value through performance and contribution to profitability of the RL Group.

About the role

Provide Distribution teams with specialist input in relation to new and existing business activities and client relationships involving Fixed Income products and strategies
Work with Client Service and Marketing on the provision of periodically updated material and information content for those materials.
Work with Marketing on sales, RFP and pitch content and material, including responses to regular and ad hoc information requests
Work with Client Reporting on timely and accurate production of client reporting that supports Fixed Income product and strategy objectives and achievements

About you

Knowledge or understanding of fixed income asset classes and markets
Knowledge or understanding of investment management investment and operational processes, products and controls
Capability of working with large data sets to produce information and improve processes where possible
Confident and articulate with the ability to thrive under pressure

IT skills and literacy include the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, front office systems such as thinkFolio and Bloomberg and tools such as VBA, Power BI and Python.

Relationship and stakeholder management skills, gaining an understanding of other functions
