Candid Creative is a vibrant creative print studio offering top-notch marketing experiences in the UK within traditional marketing and events. Established in 2023, we have expanded significantly, boasting a fully operational print room in Sidcup. Our capabilities include printing and cutting machines up to 3.2m wide, enabling us to collaborate with global brands that require robust infrastructure for their marketing ventures.

Operating within both traditional print services and design, build, and installation services for end clients and creative agencies, we prioritize sustainable materials and processes in all our creations.

At Candid Creative, we oversee the entire project lifecycle, transforming functional needs into solutions that captivate our clients and their audiences on a grand scale. Additionally, we are affiliated with Candid Digital, a digital consultancy that offers a range of e-commerce solutions.

We are Currently Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Artworker to join our design team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the precise preparation and production of print-ready artwork, as well as providing technical input for complex designs and projects.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to showcase their creative talents across a diverse range of projects.

Your Responsibilities:

Artwork Production:

  • Develop high-quality artwork files while adhering to design and production standards.
  • Collaborate with design and production leaders to create print-ready artwork from approved concepts.
  • Meticulously prepare artwork files to meet precise specifications and brand consistency.
  • Adjust and refine artwork files as needed for color accuracy and compatibility with various printing methods.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve technical issues during printing processes.
  • Quality check all artwork files, packaging designs, and merchandise graphics to ensure uniformity.
  • Implement an efficient file management system for easy access to artwork files.
  • Maintain proper archiving and version control for document revisions.

Production Support:

Assist in preparing artwork and production specifications, as well as liaising with 3rd party production studios for accurate outcomes.

Participate in studio and production meetings, collaborating with the team for timely delivery of print-ready artwork files.

Support in the physical production of projects as needed to ensure timely completion.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Experience in a creative environment, translating customer requirements into practical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and platforms.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Expertise in print production processes, color management, and printing on various materials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.

The Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Full-Time Employment
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 1 day remote work per week
  • Location: Sidcup, Kent
