Joining us as High Needs Funding Officer, you will follow a highly effective commissioning process in relation to High Needs Support funding from Local Authorities and the SEN annual review process.


Acting as the main point of contact with local authorities for learners with HNS requirements from pre-entry to enrolment, you will coordinate the tracking and monitoring of the SEN consultation and annual review process, and input HNS funding data on tothe database in a timely manner.

You will develop reports to enable senior managers to be able to effectively monitor funding data, and liaise with local authorities and College staff to ensure that all documentation for HNS funding is completed accuratelyand to deadline.


We're looking for an individual who is educated to GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics, and who has experience of working effectively with centrally established computerised systems, including a good standard of word processing,database and spreadsheet skills.

With excellent communication skills, you will have a proven ability to organise, manage and coordinate the collection and collation of large quantities of data to produce agreed outcomes and be able to keep all data confidential,complying with GDPR.

The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines is paramount, as is the ability to work well within a team.

This post requires cross College working but is predominantly based at Merton College.
