Accountability *The post holder will be immediately accountable to the Clinical Service Lead.

The post holder will be expected to undertake yearly appraisal as per GMC guidelines and to respond to any identified development needs.

Annual appraisal in line with revalidation is expected to occur as a GMC requirement. These duties and responsibilities are not intended to be exhaustive.

  • The post holder will ensure effective communication and involvement of staff across the Directorate including support to the General Manager and Group Support Managers to achieve their objectives. Work in collaboration with colleagues in other Directorates within the Trust. *Work within the Trust's framework for Clinical Governance and Risk, including the development of clinical policies and to supervise or lead quality improvement projects and audits. *The list is not exhaustive and all these would be discussed and a Job Plan agreed at the start.
  • The appointee will be managerially, but not clinically, accountable to the Deputy Divisional Medical Director and Clinical Service Lead
