Job description:
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Lead Engineer - Aero Test Team to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the state-of-the-art Silverstone Facility. As a leader, you will manage a team of aerodynamics engineers responsible for conducting aerodynamic wind tunnel tests to enhance the performance of the team's race cars. Innovation and teamwork are key values at Andretti Global, where sharing ideas and challenging norms are encouraged to foster a culture of collective success.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Oversee all wind tunnel experimental testing activities
  • Organize preparation documentation and manage day-to-day testing operations
  • Analyze and report test results, propose new methods for efficiency
  • Contribute to aerodynamic developments and collaborate for whole-car performance improvement
  • Travel regularly as part of the role

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in motorsport engineering
  • Expertise in wind tunnel testing, R&D techniques, and Formula One Technical Regulations
  • Leadership in aerodynamic development and project management
  • Proficiency in CFD, 3D CAD software, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication and IT skills, commitment to diversity and inclusion
