Sleeping Night:

Shift Pattern per 4 weeks:

Week 1

  • Monday am until 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.
Sunday pm - 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.

Week 2 -
Monday am until 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.

Week 3 -
Monday am until 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.

Week 4 -
Monday am until 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.

Wednesday am until 8am following day hours plus 1 x night.

Driver required? Essential Use of a car? Yes, onduty

Essential:
Brain injury experience. Computer Literate. Experience of behaviours that can challenge.

LW is a vivacious, young at heart mature lady with a great sense of humour who enjoys arts and crafts, going to the cinema, church, visits to the seaside and gardening.

She is an animal lover and has a cat and Koi fish. She enjoys being active and has a hydro pool in her home and weekly sessions with a personal trainer.

As a result of an Acquired Brain Injury, LW has some physical limitations, cognitive difficulties and behaviours that may challenge including low mood, self-harming, negative speech and hitting out, but this can be managed with gentle persuasion, full training is given.

LW needs 24/7 support and has a wonderful team consisting of a personal trainer, music therapist, psychologist, support workers and a case manager.


Overview of Role:
We are looking for a friendly, caring Female
  • Bank Support Worker to join LW's dedicated team to enable her to live as independently as possible. You'll provide practical, emotional, and holistic support, assisting with all aspects of LW's care plan and rehabilitation programme.

    You will be an advocate for LW, enabling her to live a fulfilling life and continue to participate in her hobbies; keeping fit, swimming, shopping, walks out, holidays and more.

    This is a support worker position with set permanent hours.
