**Dental Receptionist

  • Part Time**Due to the continued success of the practice, a fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to work with our highly trained team in our Specialist Dental Practice. We are an awardwinning, private, Referral Practice in the town of Havant in Hampshire. We pride ourselves in providing high quality, advanced dentistry in a relaxed and caring way.

Salary:
£10.50/hour

Hours:24.5 hours per week

Tuesday

Location:
Emsworth Specialist Practice (Havant)

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Answering the phone
  • Booking patients in
  • Calling to triage patients and book follow up appointments
  • Taking payments and booking/amending appointments
  • Keep important Excel sheets up to date
  • Filing, scanning and other general admin duties
  • Liaising with our referring practices and maintain effective communication regarding patient care
  • Setting up: turn on lights & PCs, open waiting rooms and see in the first patients of the day
  • Assisting the head receptionist as and when she requires

Academic or trade qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE C or equivalent
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience using SOE Exact
  • They must have a positive 'can do' attitude and be a team player who is happy to help their colleagues.

Work experience and skills:

  • Experience using SOE software
  • Patient care experience
  • Confidence speaking to people both in person and via the telephone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of data protection
