Job description:

We are seeking a Countryside Ranger to join our Ranger Team. The role will involve work on the famous West Sands beach supporting the management of this busy site.

The range of work is diverse, focusing on dealing with site and visitor management, community engagement, ecological surveying, public events and educational and volunteer groups.

The post is based on West Sands covering the beach, St Andrews Links golf courses and coastline. Weekend work on a rota is part of the shift programme.

QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

  • Countryside Management HNC or equivalent and/or working experience in a recognised countryside role and/or previous experience of being a ranger or countryside professional.
  • A current full driving licence suitable for use in the UK is essential.
  • A current first aid certificate.
  • Educational and group leading experience.

Closing date Monday 19th
February 2024 with interviews W/C 7th** March 2024
