You will need the following:

  • Commitment and compassion to the client and the role itself.
  • Deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring dignity and respect is shown to the client at all times.
  • Allow the client to remain as independent as possible and actively encourage this.

The Role:

  • You will need to provide mínimal assistance with personal care toileting and showering.
  • Be able to offer companionship throughout the call.
  • Escort client to appointments and any outings.
  • Meal preparation will be required in the evenings.
  • Some light domestic duties to include ironing.
  • Any other tasks required.

About you:

  • The role involves escorting to and from appointments and outings so you will need to be a driver and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Previous care experience will be essential for this role.
  • Good communication skills, both written for this role.
  • Ability to offer companionship and spend quality time with the client.
  • Able to remain calm in potentially challenging situations.

COMCC
Driving licence to access to own vehicle is essential for this role.
