Role Description

Join us as a Member of the AI Governance Board at Legal Utopia, where you will oversee the use of artificial intelligence, ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape AI policies and procedures.


  • Scope

    Responsibilities include governance of all AI-related initiatives, from research to deployment, to uphold ethical standards and best practices.
  • Term

    Members serve one-year terms, renewable at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
  • Commitment

    Regular meetings, with the opportunity for special sessions as needed, to discuss AI governance matters.
  • Remuneration

    Board members receive £150.00 per hour for quarterly and additional meetings.
  • Responsibilities Description

    Key responsibilities involve overseeing AI ethics and compliance, managing risks, developing policies, engaging stakeholders, reviewing projects, and monitoring their impact.

Vacancies

Legal Utopia seeks three members to join the AI Governance Board:


  • Data Privacy/Protection Officer (x1)

    Requirements include expertise in data privacy, data protection laws, privacy compliance, and experience in AI-related data protection challenges.
  • Ethics Officer (x1)

    Candidates must demonstrate strong ethics and compliance backgrounds, ethical decision-making skills, and experience in implementing ethics programs.
  • AI Ethics Expert (x1)

    We are looking for individuals with extensive experience in AI ethics, ethical guidelines development, and understanding of AI technologies.
