At NELFT, we have secured significant and long-term Transformation funding and are undertaking an ambitious and exciting programme of co-design, with our partners in the Integrated Care Board (ICB), primary care networks (PCN) and secondary care.

Our aim is to improve and enhance our service delivery to meet the challenges that face our diabetic population in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge through integration and collaboration.

We want to improve patient outcomes to help our residents reduce the risk of developing active limb-threatening or life-threatening diabetic foot problem.


The newly formed Diabetes Foot Protection Service, will provide podiatry services to GPs across the Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge borough (BHR).

The population that we serve are both multi-cultural and diverse.

This vacancy would suit an administrator preferably with an NHS background who would like to join NELFT.

Foot Protection Service Administrator

Diabetes Foot Protection Service

  • Good organisational skills

We have a diverse Admin and clinical team whose sole objective is to make sure that all residents have access to the help they need to live the life they want.


  • Support in the management triage booking system
  • Create and provide reports for senior management as directed
  • Rota management as directed
  • Support Data Lead in performance management
  • Minute taking as needed
  • Make administrative arrangements for ensuring new starters receive Trust and team inductions.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).
