Job Title: Specialist Podiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Podiatrist to join our Diabetes Foot Protection Service. As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based comprehensive assessment, review, and treatment to patients with diabetic foot problems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality podiatry care to patients with diabetic foot problems, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for patients with complex foot conditions.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Participate in education and training activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Valid HCPC registration.
  • BSc Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the community (postgraduate).
  • Sound demonstrable knowledge of NICE clinical guidelines relating to diabetic foot problems.
