Chambers Financial Services, a leading business in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established, professional, and forward-looking company that values quality advice and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering mortgage and protection advice, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. You will be responsible for meeting performance targets, prospecting and organizing meetings, fact-finding to establish client finances and future aspirations, and providing high-quality professional mortgage advice. Additionally, you will be expected to explain required insurance and protection products, network to increase new business and introducer opportunities, and develop and create relationships with clients.

As a Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will have the flexibility to work from home or in the office, with full administrative support, including submissions and pipeline management. You will also have access to coaching and mentoring to help upskill and further increase your earning potential.

The company offers a generous commission split, allowing you to earn uncapped income potential. You will also have the opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team environment, with a focus on promoting company values and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet performance targets and deliver high-quality mortgage and protection advice
  • Prospect and organize meetings to establish new business opportunities
  • Fact-find to establish client finances and future aspirations
  • Provide high-quality professional mortgage advice and explain required insurance and protection products
  • Network to increase new business and introducer opportunities
  • Develop and create relationships with clients
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and ensure all regulatory documentation is completed within the required timescale
  • Stay up-to-date with new mortgage and protection products and changes in mortgage regulation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering mortgage and protection advice
  • CeMAP or relevant mortgage qualification
  • Positive attitude and excellent team communication skills
  • Dedicated and hard-working, with a focus on achieving high levels of income through good client outcomes
  • Client-orientated with high customer service skills and communication
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
