We have an exciting opportunity for an
Executive Assistant CEO to organise, support and increase the effectiveness of the Chief Executive helping them to make the most efficient use of their time by dealing with management administration.

Additionally you will provide PA support to the Director of Service (New Homes and Commercial) one day per week and to liaise with external agencies, Board members, Leadership Team and Leader Managers.

You will be joining a modern thinking company in the process of significant change.

As the largest provider of social housing in West Norfolk, Freebridge are in the process of making cutting-edge changes to their existing service in a bid to shape their four organisational silos into one cohesive unit to improve their customer service and day-to-day practices.

Freebridge Community Housing is the largest provider of housing in West Norfolk, set up in 2006 to receive the transfer of homes from the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.

Today, we own and manage around 7,000 homes across West Norfolk, making a difference to thousands of customers within communities across an area of almost 550 square miles.

We have an annual turnover of £30m and employ well over 200 people, including our own Property Services team.

Over the last 14 years, there have been numerous achievements, not least delivering our tenants' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living.


Requirements:

  • Provide support to the Chief Executive and Director of Service (New Homes and Commercial) including electronic diary management, making appointments and organising internal and external meetings, organising travel arrangements, accommodation and other bookings. Structuring draft Board Reports
  • Decision making in relation to customer complaints, MP and Councillor enquiries, including carrying out investigations, consulting with relevant Directors, providing time lines and drafting responses
  • Take minutes at Leadership Team meetings and other meetings as required. Set the annual schedule of Leadership Team meetings. Prepare draft agendas, coordinate and distribute papers within agreed timescales and follow up on matters assigned to the Chief Executive, make decisions outside the meetings
  • Acting as a professional point of contact at all times for external organisations and customers

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working with and supporting directors, senior managers and nonexecutives
  • Previous Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant or business administration in a business environment
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Experience in handling public enquiries
  • Experience of working with
Microsoft Office: 365 Sharepoint, Word - advanced; Outlook - advanced; PowerPoint -advanced, Excel - moderate

  • Knowledge and experience of working in a regulated environment (desirable)
