Job Description:
Working as an Internal Communications & Engagement Partner, you will drive internal communications and engagement activities within your region. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will contribute to making First Bus an excellent place to work. Your role within one of our Local Business Units will involve handling various projects and issues, ensuring effective internal communication. Reporting to the Head of People, you will closely work with the UK First Bus Internal Comms team and the local PR Manager to keep colleagues informed about company initiatives and success stories.
Responsibilities include:
  • Organizing local events and management conferences
  • Writing nominations for First Bus' Our Way Awards
  • Leading the implementation of the Team Talks process
  • Developing local video content for First Bus TV
  • Driving participation in our Employee Engagement Survey
  • Collaborating with the People Business Partner to analyze survey data for performance improvement
  • Supporting managers with 'Catch Ups' data and planning beneficial initiatives for colleagues

Key qualifications and skills required:
  • Talented editor and proofreader with the ability to create high-quality communication material
  • Proficient in digital and multimedia platforms including video and content management systems
  • Data-savvy to analyze findings and implement localized actions
  • Experience in planning and executing internal campaigns
