Risborough Youth Club is looking to employ a paid Youth Leader. The post is part-time for approximately 3 to 6 hours per week.

This role will require the planning and delivery of our weekly 90 minute Youth Club session on Monday evenings, and an additional weekly session during summer holidays, and additional sessions for special events.


  • Support the personal, educational & social development of young people
  • Take responsibility for planning the Youth Club programme and the delivery of activities; encouraging the active participation of young people
  • Evaluate the programme and provide regular written reports to the board of trustees
  • Attend and contribute to management committee meetings
  • Organise club trips and special events
  • Undertake essential training as agreed with the board of trustees
  • Recruit, supervise and manage volunteer workers
  • Involve young people in decisionmaking processes
  • Develop links with the local community and other youth organisations
  • Contribute to, and execute operational policies and procedures

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 3 per week
