What does the role involve?nComplete a full functional assessment, usually in the claimant's home, identifying their past, present and future care needs, travelling no more than 2 hours from your home where possible.nWrite a comprehensive medico-legal report for the court outlining your recommendations to meet the injured person's needs allowing them to return to or as near as possible to their pre-injury lifestyle.nEnsure the claimant's requirements are reasonably met without budgetary limitations.nParticipate in case conferences with lawyers, review and comment on evidence.nAttend expert's meetings and annual conferences.nOn rare occasions, give evidence on a case in court.


You will need you to have:nA minimum of 6 years post qualification experience.n2+ years practical case management experience.nRecent hands-on experience of working with catastrophic injuries, specifically Spinal Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries and Cauda Equina.nCapacity to accommodate approx.

10 hours of work per week in addition to your case management role.nExperience of working with long-term care or support packages.
